PR was lovely. Happy to get home. And just in time. The sky fell after the plane landed. Took a while to get my souvenir up the stairs. I might have indulged a little along the way. Might.

What a day! Got off the plane and walked into quite an adventure. Found a Blues Brother everyone thought was "con Dios". Took root in a super mod hotel. Took my first see-through shower. Now I'm nestled in my bed. My bed with a built-in nite lite. Let's see what tomorrow brings.

Preparing for take off...

On the plane in the smallest seat they have working out this remote control. Seatbelt, check. Forgot my headphones but I'll just watch the TV with no sound and make up a story to match the visuals -- it's more fun that way.

Adios!!!

I'm all packed and ready to go. I didn't know what to bring so I packed everything I own. I'm off to catch my taxi to the airport. It wont be here till wednesday but it will take me half a week just to climb down the stairs.

This is my first adventure off if the mainland so this should be good. Gaaaaa! Stay tuned...

My felt hasn't been fluffing the way I like. #norealproblems Nevertheless, I decided to take a chance on traditional Chinese medicine. **this was indeed a last resort after searching high and low for Excedrin which as you may recall was recalled earlier this year without anyone at that Novartis emailing me knowing good N' well...I digress.

After wasting a good part of the day drooling over the top hello kitty nail designs of 2011 and wishing I had something to paint, I decided to make myself over. Drumroll please...I pierced my ears! Do you love it!!!? I do. They are still really tender but I look too good to care. :-)

The weather is wonderful so I decided to take a winter walk. On my way I passed by a fruit guy selling Plant City strawberries. I've heard that they make the best variety of the red berry, but since I don't eat I can't prove it. But I do know thing, I really love the way they smell. I found the tiniest one and brought it home to love.

Sushi gone wild!

I love my friends a lot more than most humans, and every time we get together they renew my faith in tomorrow...by helping me forget today...with an absurd amount of wine. :-)

Counting rows

Sometimes when I can't sleep I like to knit. I used to count sheep, but the thought of sheep jumping around made me sneeze. So I count rows. Quiets my brain so I can snuggle down in my shell and sleep well.

Red carpet ready!

In honor of the Oscars I dawned this beautiful couture dress. My red carpet is less-velvety but just as fabulous! And I didn't watch the show cause it's on way too late, but I'm loving the twitter converge of Angelina's leg. Def wearing a slit next year. These sexy felt sticks are dying to show off.

Physical, physical

I wanna get physical! I love March because that's when I start exercising. All the new years resolution setters have given up and cleared out of the gym. And all the team sports keep the kids from playing on the park path so I can run like the wind.

Today I'm doing so yoga prep and inch tracking so I can watch my progress! Yay!

The long weekend inspired a new adventure. I went to a party to defend my title as beer pong champion! Still on top!

Chipotle Side Show

I like to wander into Chipotle when I'm bored and watch the show. To see them smush all that yummy food together is amazing fun to witness. I don't eat, I only drink, or else I'd be popping out of this skin tight dress shoving Chipotle in my face. Sigh.

My friends all have dates tonite. I didn't want to be left out so I agreed to go on a blind date. #winning! He's blind, deaf, and dumb with a hot bod.

Glittergate be damned

It takes everything in my tiny being not to dive head first into this cupcake. OMG have you every seen anything so beautiful? It's covered in edible glitter! My world is changed today. I immediately googled and attempted to buy every case ever made but quickly learned I'm kinda tardy to this trend. They are even trying to regulate packaging so re-re's near and far don't use the plastic stuff on cake. Glittergate?! I've been wearing body glitter as a matter of preference for over a decade. I'm sure I've ingested or inhaled every form of glitter out there. I'm just so glad there is finally one that's safe to eat! Yay!!! I love those tiny flecks of happiness.

Hitched a ride on a dear friend to go see the Barbie Wow Dream Closet. We wore our fashion week best! What a great way to start the day!

Life in Black N' White

When life gets to be too much, sometimes you just need a peaceful escape. So, I escaped to Pleasantville. Why not got to a town that sound like how you want to feel? Boy, was I in for a surprise!

The desaturation started on the Metro North trip up. Initially I was frightened, then I realized that as my color faded so did all the stress of my day - so I went with it.

 

Then I arrived. Black n' white in Pleasantville. It was everything I expected and more. My living quarters were delightful. Old world with modern charm. 

I watched one of the world's tiniest chefs prepare sushi. She did such a good job I hand to give her a kiss on the nose.

After a tour of the town, a charming mountain snowfall and a short nap it was time to head home. Leaving this delightful place is one of the hardest things I've ever done (I haven't done much). But I know I'd like to come back. Pleasantville delivers!

Happy in a hole

Who would have thunk it?! When I got an invite to go to a place called Jackson Hole didn't sound like my cup of sweet tea. (I just prefer poles over...lol) anyway, I had a ball! We were seated in a special area reserved for mobsters and the place was full of celebrities! I finally got to see the king close up. He was just what I imagined.

But most importantly the food was legendary. The burgers they bought out were as big as Bob's Green Earth.

This was a fun stop on my way upstate. I've got a long way to go and I move really slow. Ttyl

This day did a number on me. Had to get my zen on in Central Park just to make it through.
