| ROAD TRIP!! What happens when you find out the Goonies House is only a short 4 - hour drive away! With Good company in tow, I decided to take a drive down the coast to learn more about my Goonie heritage.   WOW! I made the pilgrimage to the Goonie house and it was not a welcoming place...let the adventure begin! |

| First stop, Cannon Beach. The walk to the water was littered with creepy crawlers. |

| Once I found a nice place to relax I took a power nap. The hike to haystack looks long! |
Away we go.

After I saw the rock I left quickly in case one-eyed Willy showed up. ;-)
Since I was no where nearby, I decided to swing by and see Washington's resident volcano.

| This time I couldn't hike. Hitched a ride up 3,700 feet to get a closer look at Mt. St. Helen |
The clouds covered, but it was a glorious day!
I decided to take to time to meditate and soak in the sun.
So glad I stuck around! The clouds began to break way and revealed Helen's huge crater.
Magnificent.
The day was long, but it was an adventure I'm glad to have ingrained in my memory.
