NYC reset.

After you leave NY you must give it a day of leisure. These are what the robot fashion Gods command of you or else all of your subway trains will be late for a month solid...or at least that's how it feels.

Dear Jen, my wonder twin, took me for a morning at the MET. It also happened to be the last day to get these cute button clutches. TD4!!

Then we wandered into Bite. I walked in looking for a true blood pop up shop, but instead I got my lips done. #winning!!

Fog city!

Dude! I just flew back from SanFrancisco and boy are my arms tired *insert rimshot here* :-) I got around the city a lot better than I thought I would. The hills make for a good way to gain momentum if you're running down. Saw lots of fog. Made quite a few friends. #Goodtimes

First time flying Virgin. I'm a Virgin with Virgin. LOl Figuring out the controls.
Rolling around the city. Literally. The hills make it nearly impossible to stop of my own free will.

The art is quite encompassing
Went to visit Uncle Jessie...but no one was home. So cool.

Got a little God in.  Everything in life is a climb...

... I used the good book to get an even better view of the Grace Cathedral.

And let's not forget this view.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

This trip was all about art. I don't eat, so I can fit into this dress, but I couldn't pass on at least posing with this chocolate. OMG so pretty. One looks like a dinosaur egg. I rubbed it but it didn't hatch.

Got a little sun in at the beach. But it was too cold to get in the water.

These boo-boos got in. Brrrrrrrrrr

This guy seems to be is a big shot.

Went back to the hill top the say a kind goodbye

Passed this beautiful building on the way to the airport. This must be their museum of sunshine and lollipops. :-)

Pudding Pop - Cosby Show!

Dude! I saw Big Bill at the Florida Theatre. Thanks to the Aunt and the Grands for taking me out for a night on the town that didn't include a stop to First Baptist. Oh, don't get me wrong, Bill took us to church but it did it through his comedy.

The night began in true Southern fashion with a battle of the bands - drumline! Congrats to RMS for putting on a great show.

Then after a short break came the man himself. I took a picture but he was wearing a yellow shirt that reflected to vigorously that all of my pics were overexposed. So thanks to Jay Owen and Joshua BlackSwan for posting their twitter pics so I could retell the story too. XoxoAmra

Zàijiàn

My last memories in China. Woke up early and wrote heartfelt scribble for all my friends to enjoy after I'm gone. Inhaled some wine. Packed my bag and got on a plane headed west. What a great way to end this adventure. First world problems, here I come!

Chengduing it!

Michael the Bunny
Yay Lunar New Year! I support any traditions that lead to holidays. First stop Lazy Bones where the host Michael was waiting with warm fuzzy hugs.

Next stop, Panda park! Every time I come here I end up taking like 300 pictures of 20 bears that all look alike when I look back. Ha! So this time I decided focus on the pretty new park additions.

They Feed Pandas all the Moon Cakes left over from Mid-Autumn festival.

Notice anything? His hair looks alot like mine! Could be Buddha be from the mother land?

And for the big Firework finale, I went to the big Buddha. What a big guy!

Nestled in a bush at the crotch of the Buddha. Smells like lemongrass.

View from the narrow staircase down the mountain.

Just another Buddha. I think he's called relaxing Buddha. He looks a lot like a fat guy I know so I took a pic to do a side by side. You know who I'm talking about!

Dali but no Lama

Today I arrived in Dali. A land of many people. The Erhai Lake welcomed me. The lake feeds the grass here so it grows very large indeed! Look! I felt like Honey I shrunk the Kids! The locals were a bit strange, and the hotel was a little "over the top" but all in all it made for a wonderful adventure. This city will be hard to forget, just like this local outfit I was talked into buying!

I feel like I've grown a little inside. Forced growth, but growth nonetheless. Traveling through the backside of China with no plan or map will do that. :-) But I can say with a straight face that I'm better for it. Cheers, Dali.
